Description

Loxo Pops is a Zambian lollipop brand. Lollipops - little (or in this
case, jumbo) blasts of fun and joy. So their logo needed to reflect the energy
and madness of the brand.

For this, we created their typeface using playful letters and delightful, goofy curves. Not to mention, the letter ‘O’ doubling up as a lollipop itself.

For the packaging design, we looked to our product itself. Zambia's largest lollipop. Which is also where the brand's name comes from - Loxodonta, being the genus name of the African elephant.

The big, clumsy elephant became the soul of the packs, and the messenger of the brand's madness. We showed him having a blast, surrounded by an environment that depicted the various flavours. Entirely illustrated by hand, this design idea became an instant hit with children, and the packs could be spotted on a shelf from a mile away.
