PETA Latino

Is Google against chickens?

Agency: The Juju

Description

When people Google the word “cat”, they get an image of an animal; But why when they Google the word "chicken" they get images of torn apart bird bodies? This is the question posed in a new video, created for PETA Latino by leading marketing agency The Juju, which makes its social media debut today on PETA Latino to encourage everyone to look at the individual and go vegan.

“Just like dogs, cats and humans, chickens feel pain and fear and value their own lives,” says PETA Latino Associate Director Alicia Aguayo. "PETA Latino's new video encourages everyone to view chickens as individuals, not as food, and to leave them off their plates."

PETA Latino, whose motto reads, in part, “animals are not ours to eat,” opposes speciesism, a human supremacist view, and offers a free “How to Go Vegan” guide on its website. For more information about PETA Latino, visit PETALatino.com or follow the group on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram.
