Description
The production agency newcycle, a longtime member of the adidas Originals universe, leaves its mark once again in one of the most anticipated collaborations of the year: Forum2000 x BZRP, the brand’s first international collaboration with an Argentine artist.
After working on global projects alongside Bad Bunny and Edison Chen, newcycle now joins Bizarrap and the brand with the three stripes for a launch that redefines the connection between music, fashion, and culture, contributing both the creative concept and production of the pieces.
The Argentine artist and record producer, the most listened-to in the world and a four-time Latin Grammy winner, teams up with adidas Originals to reinterpret one of the brand’s most iconic silhouettes.
More than just a sneaker, the Forum2000 x BZRP is a cultural statement — a bridge between the classic and the contemporary, between Haedo and the world. Bizarrap took an active role in the creative process, traveling to adidas’ headquarters in Germany to work hand-in-hand with the design team. From color selection to the smallest details, his personal imprint is everywhere: innovation, authenticity, and urban attitude.
The global launch is accompanied by a film directed by Stillz, the young Colombian filmmaker behind some of today’s most iconic music videos, and produced by newcycle. The piece —a cinematic production as minimalist as it is powerful— revolves around the concept “The Power of What You Don’t See.” Set to “DARE” by Gorillaz, the film blends adidas’ visual pulse with the mystery surrounding Bizarrap, exploring the idea that you don’t need to be seen to be great.
The short film portrays a day in the producer’s life: once he laces up his adidas, he becomes invisible — only his cap and sunglasses remain. From the streets of Haedo, his hometown, the story follows his journey to becoming a global phenomenon. The video features appearances by Lamine Yamal and Damon Albarn, reinforcing this journey between the visible and the intangible.
“For us, this project represents much more than a collaboration — it’s the meeting of two languages that inspire an entire generation. With adidas, we’ve been building a relationship that allows us to tell stories where culture and design amplify one another. And doing it alongside Bizarrap, an artist who brought his essence from Haedo to the world, is a symbol of everything we believe in: that the local can be global without losing its identity,” said Mica Koretzky, Global Managing Lead at newcycle.
With Forum2000 x BZRP, adidas Originals and newcycle consolidate a new chapter in global urban culture, reaffirming the brand’s vision of connecting with new generations through authenticity, music, and design.
The global launch will take place on October 29, available on adidas.com and at selected stores worldwide.
