We use technology to "save" moments of our lives forever by keeping them in some computer's memory. We take for granted that systems work correctly every time, and our balance is unimaginably disturbed when we receive error messages about insufficient memory to complete some process. A not enough memory error message for World Alzheimer's Day 2022 reminds us of how hard it is when one cannot rely any more on the most advanced system, that of the human brain, and the bitter metaphor makes us aware of the difficult lives of our fellow human beings, who struggle daily with some form of dementia.
