Description
With the the recent hike in food prices, cost of living skyrocketing and inflation rising rapidly, hunger is gradually becoming a national issue for Nigerians and its effects are being felt by both the wealthy and the masses. We can almost safely say “Hunger is one thing that connects us all”.
So, on World Hunger Day, Lagos Food Bank Initiative, an organization that’s heavily involved in distributing food items and basic necessities for Lagosians sought to answer a question - “How do we inspire empathy and drive Nigerians to donate and join our cause in addressing the issue of hunger?”
So, we created posters that encouraged people to contribute and help eradicate hunger in any way they can. Visually, we will used plates to signify an empty stomach. Because for many, an empty stomach is their current reality.
