Inspired by the childhood story of Moisés Caicedo, LAPIGOL by Lancer tells the journey of a boy who first imagined his future with nothing more than a pencil and a piece of paper. Through graphite-style illustrations, the film transforms those early sketches into the story of one of Ecuador’s greatest football stars, proving that every dream starts with a simple stroke. The story also highlights the role of family, whose support helped turn those childhood dreams into reality.
Problem
Lancer needed to launch LAPIGOL, its official Moisés Caicedo pencil, in a way that felt meaningful rather than commercial. The challenge was to move beyond product features and create an authentic connection between the brand, education, creativity, football culture, and the values that shaped Moisés’ journey.
