In MullenLowe Athens, we grabbed the opportunity to raise awareness for breast cancer on the 25th of October 2024. This print and digital ad for World Breast Cancer Awareness Day, reached out to women with a very clear message: ‘Cancer is not something to play with. It is a real threat that concerns us, all’. The typical doll model of almost every little girl’s childhood, appears with the characteristic scar that women bear after being operated for a cancerous tumor, but still having a smile on her soulless face. A shocking image that surely brings the message across and makes women consider prevention.
