In the 1930’s Joseph Stalin killed millions in Ukraine by withholding food and supplies, creating a man-made famine, known in Ukraine as "Holodomor" (derived from Ukrainian words meaning "to inflict death by hunger"). Stalin never admitted to committing this atrocity and to this day, Canada, the United States, Ukraine and only 14 other countries recognize the Holodomor as an act of genocide. Yet, most people are still largely unaware of the basic facts of one of the greatest crimes of the 20th Century. We used "deepfake" technology, a controversial method, typically associated with lies and deception to finally tell the truth of the Holodomor genocide. In the video, Stalin declares himself the true originator of "fake news" for having covered up the magnitude of the 1932-33 famine in Ukraine and concealed from the world the engineered murder of millions of innocent men, women and children. It’s called #deeptruth.
