On May 25, during the Toronto Blue Jays’ tribute game to Vladimir Guerrero Jr. in an Expos uniform, VIA Rail is unveiling a new visual campaign reminding fans that the train is the best way for Montrealers to stay connected to baseball this summer.

“We wanted to create an image that could tell the story without words,” says Marie Cermakova, Art Director at Cossette. “By transforming the stitching of a baseball into railway tracks, we position VIA Rail as a direct link between Montreal, Toronto, and the shared passion that continues to bring fans together.”

“At VIA Rail, our role goes beyond simply transporting people,” says Philippe Normand, Vice-President of Communications and Marketing at VIA Rail. “For Montreal baseball fans heading to Toronto to experience the game live, people still too often think of driving first. Yet the train remains the simplest, most comfortable, safest, and most enjoyable way to make the trip.”

The campaign will run across out-of-home and digital platforms for two weeks.
