In 2020, there were 2.3 million women who were diagnosed with breast cancer and 685 000 reported deaths globally. Breast cancer is one of the most common cancers in Bangladeshi women. An article from The Daily Star dated 26 November 2021 stated that breast cancer takes 6844 lives in Bangladesh every year. Breast cancer could be avoided through early-stage detection and appropriate and timely intervention. The lack of awareness among the people of Bangladesh about this unspoken disease is becoming a reason for the untimely deaths of many women.
To create awareness among the women of our country, Inglot launched a breast cancer awareness campaign I AM AWARE ARE YOU.
Our main objective was to spread awareness about this deadly disease and let the audience know about the fatality and the symptoms of this disease.
