“At the Moment of Truth,” the emotional campaign by OSDE, Argentina's leading private healthcare company, based on real stories, now presents a new narrative in collaboration with Zurda Agency and Argentinacine, showcasing how a doctor's commitment can profoundly impact a patient's life.
This inspiring tale follows the journey of Mauro Depergola, who, after suffering an accident that left him with permanent physical injuries, meets Dr. Miyagi. Not only did Dr. Miyagi play a crucial role in Mauro's physical recovery, but he also encouraged him to pursue the sport that would ultimately lead to his becoming a Paralympic medalist, completely changing the course of his life.
Directed by Augusto Gimenez Zapiola and Daniel Rosenfeld, the spot aims to highlight that behind every emergency, treatment, or service, there is much more than meets the eye. Just as there is a support network around a patient that experiences stress and anxiety, there is also a calling that extends beyond professionalism for every healthcare provider.
“The selection of the stories was an incredibly emotional process that was very much in sync with OSDE. We proposed to share real stories, which not only involved an extensive search for cases but also the difficulty of wanting to include them all. That’s why we designed this campaign as a kind of series, with each story as a chapter, with Mauro’s being last. Even if we had wanted to fictionalize it, it wouldn’t have been as special,” explains Mica Galizia, Business Manager at Zurda Agency.
The campaign shares poignant moments of truth from various individuals, including the phone-assisted delivery of Sofía by Gabi, an OSDE operator; Jorge’s story after suffering multiple strokes; Natalia's journey overcoming severe lumbar osteoarthritis; María José’s recovery process following an accident; and the heart transplant of Isi, a 4-year-old boy.
“At OSDE, we understand that health is a commitment to every individual’s life. That’s why Mauro’s testimony and the other stories in this campaign fill us with pride and reaffirm our purpose: to be there when they need us the most. These are stories of effort and resilience, worthy of being told, and that is the spirit of the campaign that the teams at Zurda and Argentinacine have interpreted wonderfully,” says Oscar Rodríguez, Sub-manager of Advertising at OSDE.
These narratives underscore the commitment of everyone at OSDE, not just the doctors, but the entire team of professionals, to each of their members. Through content produced by Argentinacine, the campaign emphasizes that in each individual's moment of truth, health and support are the true priorities.
