Description
As part of its UK market entry, OSCAR launched a high-impact mobile OOH campaign across central London — using LED billboard vans with a darkly humorous twist.
The moving vans featured a coffin and the striking headline:
“Another victim died waiting for their electrician.”
Followed by:
“Book with OSCAR and avoid no-shows.”
The goal? To dramatize the frustration of unreliable service providers — and position OSCAR as the fast, dependable solution for home repairs and maintenance.
Creative Concept:
It’s not an ad. It’s a eulogy.
OSCAR is here to bury the broken promises, no-shows, and 6-hour arrival windows that define the traditional home services industry.
The London campaign is part of OSCAR’s multi-phase international expansion.
In May 2025, OSCAR secured €6M in Pre-Series A funding, bringing total investment to €12M+, to fuel growth in Iberia and the UK.
Already the market leader in Portugal and rapidly scaling in Spain, OSCAR now operates in over 30 cities and offers more than 200 fixed-price services.
Note on Results:
This digital van activation was one of several launch-phase campaigns in London. While still early, the campaign has drawn attention for its provocative tone, bold visuals, and clever messaging — establishing OSCAR as a disruptive newcomer in the UK home services market.
