JAECOO needed a TVC that could quickly build belief in a new entrant to the premium SUV category while still feeling consistent with its existing product films. The brief was simple. Impress quickly, reach a broader audience, and make people believe this car belongs.
Instead of another straight product showcase, we leaned into something more playful and relatable. What better judge of a car than the family dog? The film is told entirely from a collie’s point of view as she experiences the all new JAECOO 5 for the first time. At first she is unimpressed, maybe even a little suspicious. But as curiosity kicks in, she starts to explore.
Through her inner thoughts, we discover the car piece by piece. The bold exterior, the roomy interior, the panoramic roof perfect for sticking your head out of. Slowly but surely, she comes around.
By the end, the verdict is clear. This is a car that wins you over in unexpected ways. Because if the dog approves, you probably will too.
