Marklinica created a Pixar style 3D storytelling calendar for Royal Fertility Center and transformed fertility care into a narrative of hope, empathy, and human connection.
The challenge
Fertility and IVF services carry heavy emotions. If the design becomes too medical, the material feels cold and distant. If it becomes too emotional, it risks losing authenticity.
Royal Fertility Center needed a calendar that respects the emotional weight of fertility journeys while offering comfort and dignity. The goal was to create something that feels supportive, gentle, and reassuring.
The solution
Marklinica developed two narrative directions that balance emotion with clarity.
The first is a romantic human story following a couple through love, marriage, fertility challenges, and IVF success, ending in the joy of starting a family.
The second uses a futuristic sci fi metaphor featuring a fertility doctor traveling through space in search of solutions to global infertility.
Both narratives turn the calendar into a storytelling medium that brings awareness while keeping hope at the heart of the message.
Art direction
The visual direction takes inspiration from cinematic Pixar style 3D storytelling. Characters, environments, and lighting are crafted to elicit empathy rather than to feel clinical.
Soft light, warm tones, and gentle depth create a comforting mood for every scene. Each month’s illustration works as a stand alone frame and together they form a complete emotional journey.
Graphic elements remain minimal to ensure the story remains the focus rather than decoration.
Outcome
The calendar repositions Royal Fertility Center as a place where medical expertise meets emotional understanding. It breaks the coldness often associated with fertility care and replaces it with warmth, humanity, and storytelling.
The result is a calendar that comforts, educates, and gently supports anyone navigating their fertility journey.
