As a leading women's magazine since 1947, Laisha has been a constant presence in the lives of Israeli women.
In 2021, we featured the domestic violence helpline on our front cover. The impact was immediate — yet we learned that a one-time moment was not enough for a crisis that never ends.
In 2025, the country reached a devastating milestone with the highest number of femicides in its history. We felt a responsibility to act, and decided to shift from a moment to a commitment.
We redesigned Laisha's fixed layout to permanently integrate the helpline (*6724) into the magazine's spine. This discreet placement turns every future issue into a life-saving resource, hidden in plain sight across homes, hair salons, and waiting rooms.
Within 60 days: 1,250,000 copies printed, led to a 19% increase in calls.
By 2030: The helpline will be printed on an estimated 29 million copies.
