The art direction is very distinctive and the copy is nice and understated. Brilliant.

My issue with these are the glaringly forced jokes in each of these ads. Everything goes really smoothly, the whole feel is a good idea, then some joker slaps on a pun and spoils the whole thing.

And the self-congratulatory 'breaking with traditional ... advertising... room interior shots' -- did these ads not have a look at the hotel website before smugging their way all over here? All I could find over there was a suave, slick website for a hotel charging rooms at GBP520 per night.

Not, I would imagine, an audience who would appreciate jokes about watching pigeons from their room. I really do like the style of these, apart from the jokes, but I also think they're misdirected audience-wise.
