Recent researches show that less than 5% of the people in Western Europe know where Vilnius is located. Let alone the rest of the World. So, it's a city desperate for awareness. But it's also known that, even though the city itself is really beautiful and has lots to offer, one of the elements that tourists like the most from it is the humbleness and the ability of the locals to laugh about their own obscurity. That's why the new official touristic campaign of Vilnius decided to do what a local would do: to embrace the fact of being a lesser-known destination, and to laugh about it with everyone, making their biggest disadvantage become the solution to their low awareness. Because a city doesn't have to be well known to be amazing.
