Nowadays, a lot of companies talk about team spirit. And no wonder - people aren’t looking only for good salaries and benefits in their new job, but something (or someone) they could connect with, rely on and find help in. What if this team spirit materialized (pun intended) in the form of a friendly, cheerful ghost that is omnipresent in the company and connects its employees across teams and departments? And so, at Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions Slovakia, SPIRIT was born.

SPIRIT has several meanings for the company and its internal and external branding. First of all, it contains the abbreviation IT which represents information technologies that Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions focuses on. At the same time, SPIRIT stutters, hence supporting diversity and proving to the world that people with impairment are not only welcomed at the company, but they can be IT experts no matter their disability. This fact is highlighted by the wording used across visuals. Words starting with “BU” are present in the claims, drawing on the sound “BU-BU-BU” which is a common interjection that ghosts use in the Slovak language.

Furthermore, SPIRIT is the representation of the company’s values. It appears supporting the environment, gay rights, diversity, work-life balance, as well as enjoying everyday activities such as programming, drinking coffee, listening to music or riding a scooter.

This professional campaign titled 'We have a SPIRIT' was published in Slovakia in July, 2023. It was created for the brand: Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions Slovakia, by ad agency: Promiseo.
