Greece consistently ranks among the top three countries in Europe with the most severe stray animal problem. To achieve a meaningful reduction in their population, it is necessary to sterilize 70–80% of domestic pets.
Although progress has been observed in recent years, neutering rates remain insufficient relative to the scale of the issue, allowing the cycle of uncontrolled reproduction to continue.
As a result, the problem is not diminishing but constantly reproducing itself, keeping the country high in the relevant European rankings.
The campaign brings the source of the problem into view — unfiltered, and closer to us than we might think.
