Description
Jameson Irish Whiskey teamed up with former wide receiver Julian Edelman to debut the Jameson Touchdown in Dublin Bus in New York City on Friday, Sept. 6, rallying in front of pro football HQ to make some noise and show that Dublin deserves to host a pro football game. The stunt kicked off the brand’s Jameson Touchdown in Dublin campaign, back for a second year to unofficially call for a regular season pro American football game to be played in the iconic city Jameson was founded.
The Touchdown in Dublin bus will make stops to football tailgates across the country this fall to rally fans and build support for the mission.
If a regular season pro football game in Dublin is announced by April 1, 2025, Jameson is going to celebrate in a big way by offering one 21+ fan and up to five friends the chance to experience the momentous occasion live in the city Jameson was founded.* Fans that join our huddle will be entered to win the Ultimate Dublin Experience, complete with flights to Dublin, 3-nights of hotel accommodations, a tour of the Jameson Distillery and a $3,000 gift card to be used towards tickets to the game (*See official rules and terms at JamesonSports.com).
Pro football continues to grow in popularity across the world, but Dublin still hasn’t been added to the line-up. The city is gaining hype from the recent college game played there, as well as from the decision makers themselves. The kickoff of Touchdown in Dublin aptly coincided with the international game held in Brazil on September 6, and builds on the brand’s campaign last year with football icon Ryan Fitzpatrick to increase fan support for a game to be held in the Emerald Isle.
