Artlist’s latest series of commercials for their new AI voiceover stand out in more ways than one — much like the feature itself. The creative director, Amir Hemed wanted to “produce something disruptive, that would make people stop what they were doing, watch the ad, and enjoy 30 seconds of creativity at work.”
Kicking off the project, Amir and the team played around with the product itself, just as any user would, and the creative sparks flew. After listening to the many voices in the catalog, and feeding the generator a range of prompts, classic cinematic tropes became increasingly evident. The task was then to take these tropes and find a way to flip them on their heads.
For example, an ad for basketball shoes became an ad for shoes made out of basketballs, and a traditional nature documentary was created about imaginary pink penguins. These short yet powerful videos are the perfect way to showcase that the new AI voiceover really is as inspirational, innovative, and useful as advertised.
