Description

This project showcases a poster designed for The National Tahtib Festival, a celebration of Tahtib, the traditional stick dance rooted in Upper Egypt. Tahtib is more than just a martial art; it is a folkloric performance that embodies values of honor, respect, and community spirit in Egyptian culture.
The digital illustration used in the poster reflects elements of Upper Egyptian identity, capturing the spirit, heritage, and symbolism of this ancient tradition in a modern visual language. Through this piece, we aim to honor and revive one of Egypt’s oldest cultural expressions.
