Carpet Fest – Ouzguita Moroccan Tradition

School: The Higher Institute Of Applied Arts

Festival Poster

Description

This is a student project created at the Higher Institute of Applied Arts in Egypt as part of a graphic design course.

The ad concept celebrates the rich cultural heritage of Moroccan carpets, specifically Ouzguita rugs, which are known for their intricate patterns and deep symbolism.

The poster was designed to reflect the essence of Aznakht’s traditional craftsmanship and to promote the Carpet Fest – Season 7, held on November 20. The use of texture, color, and pattern aims to evoke the warmth and authenticity of Moroccan weaving culture.

The design reflects the visual identity of the region by integrating traditional motifs in a modern graphic style.
It was designed to emphasize the connection between cultural fabric and visual identity, using textile-inspired elements to enhance the authenticity and immersive experience of the festival’s theme.

This is a conceptual work and was not commissioned. It was created for educational purposes only.
