XFINITY

The End of the World

Agency: Goodby Silverstein & Partners

Description

Goodby Silverstein & Partners has launched a new instalment of Xfinity’s ‘Imagine That’ campaign, using a zombie apocalypse to dramatise everyday mobile frustrations such as broken devices, expensive phone bills and losing WiFi. Directed by Damien Shatford and produced by Xfinity Creative Production, the three films turn common technology headaches into life-or-death scenarios, positioning Xfinity Mobile as the reliable solution when everything else seems to be falling apart.

The campaign continues the humorous, hyperbolic approach established by the ‘Imagine That’ platform, following earlier spots featuring Frankenstein and a Jurassic Park-inspired Super Bowl commercial. This latest chapter imagines a world overrun by zombies, where dependable home and mobile technology becomes the unlikely hero amid the chaos.

By exaggerating familiar frustrations into end-of-the-world situations, the campaign highlights the value of reliable connectivity in a memorable and entertaining way. Xfinity says the work reinforces how its mobile service helps customers stay connected through cracked screens, forgotten downloads and weak signals, showing that even when life feels chaotic, its technology continues to perform reliably.
