Description

In the automotive industry, auto parts are often seen as purely functional and technical products—limiting their ability to emotionally connect with current and future generations of mechanics.

To boost DENSO’s brand recognition, we identified a unique opportunity: reaching out to the children of mechanics, who often inherit their parents’ workshops.

So, we developed a strategy that not only humanized the products but also built an emotional connection through an entertaining and educational format: comic books.

We created “The DENSO Squad,” a 10-issue comic series that reimagines DENSO auto parts as superheroes with unique powers, ready to tackle the toughest challenges in the automotive world. Each hero represents a key component in vehicle performance and care. Through their missions and battles, these heroes teach younger generations the importance of choosing high-quality parts, while highlighting DENSO’s commitment to sustainability, innovation, and global well-being.
