Description

Carrom has an immense nostalgia factor in India, associated with growing up as kids and playing with family and friends. Having played it during summer vacations and also competitively, the game is special for Indians from all walks of life. With the Carrom game being launched online, MPL wanted us to create a memorable montage music video that would make everyone reminisce about the game, the fun we used to have playing the game and the sounds while playing the game on the board as it made the sound- Takash Takash. Using this real life insight of the sfx as a sound cue, we created a film that encapsulates the various people in the country playing the game from different corners of India. This led us to creating a fun montage film with a screenplay that flows like the game of Carrom; we used interesting motion graphics and a stylized edit style that would engage the new age target audience.
