Street Justice

Agency: Ogilvy

Description

Sadly, mob lynching is still as popular in many Nigerian cities today as our Jollof rice and Afrobeat music.

The objective of this print ad was to call attention to the social issue of Jungle Justice while using the 10th memorial of the #Aluu4, a group of four University of Port Harcourt students who were victims of a necklace lynching that took place in Aluu, Rivers State Nigeria in 2012 as the point of reference.

This visual depicts everyone as court judges, casting judgment on a presumed guilty individual, who happens to be the only one in colour.

This professional campaign titled 'Street Justice' was published in Nigeria in October, 2022. It was created by ad agency: Ogilvy. This Design, OOH Outdoor, and Print media campaign is related to the Public Interest industry and contains 1 media asset. It was submitted over 1 year ago.
