Floating in a hot air balloon is usually a peaceful experience. You get up early, watch the sky fill with color, and slowly ascend above the world. But one day, that experience is not the same as usual.

A balloon straight out of Clash of Clans began floating above the cities. And, just like in Clash, it started dropping barrels from above. Suddenly, the peaceful view of the sky became the beginning of a raid... and everyone wondered the same thing: was it going for 3 stars?

To launch the new Clash of Clans series on Netflix, we brought one of the game's most iconic elements into the real world. Real Clash balloons appeared above cities and dropped secure barrels containing access to the trailer and exclusive in-game rewards, while players followed the coordinates to witness the moment live. For a brief moment, the sky looked exactly like Clash of Clans. And the game world felt closer than ever.
