Now, with their new AI-service, Škoda wants to reach the heart of the outdoorsy people of Norway and help them explore nooks and crannies – no matter what car they’re driving.

Real adventures planned by AI
Mystery Trips is a free service that can generate millions of unique travel routes for you. With thousands of destinations spread around Norway, the service uses artificial intelligence to tailor a route in less than 10 seconds. All you need to do is enter some details and interests, and Škoda’s AI will create a day plan full of hidden gems and fun activities – customized to your needs. As the service is web-based, Mystery Trips can integrate with the infotainment system in most car models. This opens up new opportunities to engage with and experience the Škoda brand.

No need for planning
The AI takes seasonal changes, daily weather data, venue hours, your children’s age, and your family’s interests into consideration. To add real exploring, the places you’ll end up are kept a mystery until you arrive at your destination.

Under the hood
Mystery Trips utilizes data from sources such as,, and Google Places, integrating natural language processing through GPT-4. By creating a vector database of places, attractions, and sights, the service can generate millions of travel routes.
