Creative agency Brain Tank presents Seven Monkeys — a new type of CBD drink that was conceived within the team and went from recipe to launching its own series of parties.
Brain Tank is used to launching brands for clients. But this time, they decided to do something for themselves. That's how Seven Monkeys came about — the agency's first own product, and not just a drink, but a Jahzer. It's not an energy drink or a low-alcohol beverage, but a new category: Jahzer — a combination of Jah culture and drive that accelerates in a new way.
“We didn't want to repeat or compete with our clients,” says Brain Tank. “So we came up with a format that didn't exist yet.”
To bring Jahzer to life, the team went through the entire brand architecture process and then some: they came up with the idea, invented the drink, developed the identity, positioning, packaging design, and promotional campaign — every step necessary to launch the product.
Design that conveys taste
The color of the cans matches the taste of the drink. This is no coincidence — the team tested and searched for the “color of taste” as seriously as they created the recipe. The Seven Monkeys logo plays with our perception — some see a half-closed eye, others a half-open one. And the small but recognizable CBD stamp is a symbol of confident legalization.
Details that sell
A separate “volume knob” on the can hints that one drink is chill, while the other is maximum acceleration. One can involuntarily sells another.
Launch
Seven Monkeys did not limit itself to store shelves. The brand started with a series of parties in swimming pools and clubs to find its people and create its own vibe.
“At first, we did it for ourselves. Now we share it with everyone. Because if you're looking for your vibe, you can only find it together,” Brain Tank adds.
