Inside, the common houseleek (Sempervivum tectorum), also called “Thor’s Beard,” long believed in Norse folklore to protect homes from lightning, the realm of the thunder god Thor.
By merging myth with everyday living, the concept gives form to JYSK’s brand claim: “Scandinavian Sleeping & Living.”
