Santa's Fantasea, a renowned chain of restaurants specialising in Seafood and Indian Tribal cuisine, introduced an array of innovative delicacies in their speciality menu, which called for Conceptual Food Photography that showcases the said delicacies in their truest selves: rustic, dynamic, right from the flame.
The aim was organic promotion and PR for the new launches, which was met with quick consultations with the restaurant's recognised chefs and discovering new ways to present food which would pique curiosity.
With the carefully placed details, each frame captures the journey these dishes cover from the hearth to the heart – the leaf-roasted Maachhi (fish) laid across a stone grinder slab amidst spices, the Forbidden Black Rice unwrapped from a banana leaf, the Lava Gosht (mutton) steaming from a baked earthenware upon embers, and the Bamboo roasted Biryani pouring out of a bamboo stem it just finished being cooked in.
