To celebrate 25 years of its operation, Robi wanted to inspire the youth of the country with a story that would drive them to dream big and to chase the dream too, as nothing is impossible when you have the power.
As the vehicle for the communication, Robi came up with a commercial inspired by a real person whose dedication and hard work has enabled others to dream again. The story talks about Lablu, a young boy from rural Bangladesh who dreamed big. The self-taught innovator wanted to help his older brother who had lost an arm in an accident. With sheer dedication and his learnings from the internet, Lablu successfully made a robotic arm that helped his brother get a hold of his life once again. While our story ends with this achievement of Lablu, there are millions of Lablus in Bangladesh with big dreams to achieve, and as their telecommunication provider, Robi is there to enable them with countrywide best internet experience so that they can achieve what they are meant for.
It's an inspiring story of human triumph that also highlights the quality and service of the brand Robi without being too obvious about the brand placement. We just wanted to inspire the future of Bangladesh with the story of an ordinary man with extraordinary effort and achievement.
