Proud Independence

Amandau, one of Paraguay's most iconic ice cream shops, launched a special edition of its signature Palito Rohayhu: an ice cream shaped like the country's map. A product made entirely by Paraguayan hands, it embodies pure patriotism and pride.

To announce this launch, we posed a question that connected the past with the present in a disruptive yet relatable way: "If our national heroes could taste the Palito Rohayhu, what would they feel?" The answer was clear: the same pride that all Paraguayans feel.

Thus, a graphic campaign was born that reinterprets history. We artistically reworked some of the most famous and revered portraits of our national heroes: Dr. José Gaspar Rodríguez de Francia, Fulgencio Yegros, and Juana María de Lara; placing the Palito Rohayhu in their hands as a symbol of contemporary celebration.

The result is a campaign with a strong national identity that not only pays tribute to those who forged our history, but also celebrates the present of a country that dares to shape its dreams, uniting tradition, art and the flavor that identifies us.
