On Arabic Language Day, we at Post Agency showcased the power of language and terminology in the process of idea generation and execution.
This occasion was significant in highlighting that everything we create and contemplate is directly connected to something called language. However, language alone is not sufficient to explain matters that are intrinsic to the human experience. There is another element that can also express a person, which is silence.
We revisited the past before the advent of language and explored how humans communicated among themselves until the moment they needed to create language for communication and expression. In the present time, humans have begun to seriously consider remaining silent, especially as we live in a technologically advanced world that simplifies communication and perhaps replaces it with a press of a button to express emotions, much like the reaction features available in stickers on social media applications.
This idea was executed through the medium of illustrated stories, due to the ease of employing this concept in such works. Additionally, we relied on voice-over narration and precise text to highlight the emotions related to this event concerning language itself.
