Description

Mothers don’t just cook - they transform love into poignant memories. In Bengali culture, all mothers are revered as Maa Annapurna - a divine form who is the eternal provider of nourishment.

In the Bengali language, 'Pata' originally referred to a section of a narrative scroll painting - used by the 'Patuas' (traditional artists who created scroll paintings). Long before the tradition of idol worship took shape in Hindu culture, Bengalis used to worship through 'Patachitra'. This form of paintings emerged in the 19th century, most likely as souvenirs for pilgrims visiting the temples.

Our creative attempt has been to celebrate all mothers as an embodiment of Maa Annapurna. She is present in every mother since eternity. Using the quintessential 'Pata' as the creative hook, the copy complements the visual and enhances the feeling of divinity and love celebrating Mother's Day in a unique manner. Through the eyes of 6 Ballygunge Place, which serves the finest Bengali cuisine across India.
