Description
In Russian families domestic violence is no longer something hideous and is considered to be a variation of norma or even worse - a tradition. A law that decriminalized domestic violence was released in 2017 and made the situation even worse by giving free rein to the monsters. We opened “MONSTORY” an extraordinary Halloween Costume pop-up store 3 days before the celebration. Each costume belonged to the real abuser and looked like regular outfit with the blood-curdling stories behind them, that were told in print and podcast formats. Shop visitors could familiarize with the testimonies of victims of pedophiles, rapists, tyrants via QR code and share their impressions on social media.
