Monopol Official Sponsor of Carnival’s Color
Description
Carnival is Bolivia’s biggest cultural celebration and one of the most competitive advertising moments of the year, where major brands fight for visibility through sponsorships, concerts, broadcasts, and activations. Monopol wanted to be part of Carnival, but without the financial power to compete for expensive sponsorships.
Instead of fighting for media space, we identified something no brand had ever owned: color. Because there is no Carnival without color. It lives in costumes, masks, dances, streets, traditions, and every expression of joy throughout the celebration.
So while every brand sponsored stages and events, Monopol sponsored the essence of Carnival itself: its color.
The campaign transformed color into a cultural brand asset. Beyond communication, Monopol intervened the asphalt where thousands celebrated, turning black streets into giant colorful canvases that paid tribute to Bolivian culture.
We didn’t interrupt Carnival with advertising.
We became part of it.
