Description
In Afghanistan, women are forced to cover themselves completely because of the imposition of burqa. We created a look made of Afghan burqas which were abandoned by Afghan women at the airport when they left the country.
The dress was handmade by Katty Xiomara, a Portuguese fashion designer, with the help of Zarifa Ghafari an Afghan human rights activist and former mayor in the country.
