To help ignite children’s love for reading by transforming story time, Penguin Random House Canada created Living Stories – a completely functional web app that connects to the sound of caregivers’ voices while reading a selection of physical books with predetermined cues that activate smart lights and sound effects to bring stories to life in a magical way.

Living Stories caters to a digitally native generation by leveraging technology that children have grown up with to make story time an exciting and multisensorial experience.
