In Ecuador’s saturated pizza market, Papa John’s faced a key challenge: grow delivery reach without opening new stores or relying on third-party platforms. With mobile as the primary ordering channel, the brand needed a solution that delivered both convenience and creative engagement.
While analyzing delivery and urban data, we discovered a surprising insight: many locations in Ecuador (and the world) are shaped like pizza slices. That led to a breakthrough idea: turn these areas into dynamic delivery zones inside the Papa John’s app.
Users could geolocate themselves to unlock discounts or submit new locations to expand the map, transforming delivery into a brand experience.
The creative challenge was making this system feel seamless, scalable, and culturally relevant—using real-time data to turn mobile behavior into brand interaction.
The result was a mobile-first, data-driven campaign that increased orders, app engagement, and market share—while turning geography into a new frontier for creativity and connection.
