In Nigeria (and some parts of the world), the left hand is seen as inferior to the right hand. As a result, lefthanded people are often percieved as inferior, dirty, and disrespectful simply because they do not use the ‘hallowed’ right hand.
These individuals want to be normal like every other person, unfortunately, they live in a culture where respect is core, and using the left hand is considered disrespectful, even worse, a curse.
Since no one is talking about this mistreatment, we decided to do something about it on International Lefthanders Day.
