KFC Spain launched an unusual product in June 2022: fried chicken flavoured nuts. To promote this collaboration with Grefusa, a leading snack brand in the Iberian Peninsula, the creative agency PS21 decided to recreate in miniature the set up of five of the most famous streamers in the world and broadcast a live show starring five hamsters (with a more than reasonable resemblance to gamers), who are really the most fanatical 'influencers' of sunflower seeds, the most consumed snack in Spain. During the 43 minutes that the action lasted, the stream achieved one million viewers, 8 million organic views, 11.4 million impressions on social networks and 6 million interactions. KFC's limited edition of 2.5 million bags of fried chicken-flavoured sunflower seeds, sold out within three weeks.
