Europe is struggling through the pandemic, and the Cannes Lions will be held online for the first time in history. In Russia, things are different: quarantine is lifted and they have their own "Cannes" — a small Siberian city of Kansk, whose name in Russian sounds similar to the French one.

Leo Burnett Moscow decided to take advantage of a unique opportunity and hold the Kansk Lions.
It all starts with the Cannes Predictions. This is a decades-long tradition for Leo Burnett where participants bank (with a high degree of accuracy) on which work will win the most awards per industry trends. The winner gets a ticket to the next Cannes Lions Festival.
Leo Burnett Moscow predicts the top 10 creative directors of the world will be:
Bruno Bertelli, Matthias Spaetgens, Alexander Schill, David Lubars, Pancho Cassis, Paul Chan, Jorg Riommi, Greg Hahn, Eduardo Marques, Frederic Levron.
They believe that theirs cases will get the biggest amount of Lions and have invited these participants to the Kansk Lions — organized specially for them — to celebrate awards together and offline.
"Hopefully our bets will win and join us at the Kansk Lions. But in any case, champagne and oysters will not be wasted,” says creative team at Leo Burnett Moscow. “And who would you bet on?"
