This Kali Pujo, our song— crafted like Syama Sangeet—is a heartfelt call to Ma Kali, the fierce protector and mother. Set in the soulful, haunting style of Syama Sangeet, we sing a lament to her, asking if she sees the suffering and injustice in our society today. Inspired by recent events, especially the tragic case of R. G. Kar, this piece is a plea to the goddess for change, compassion, and hope.
