Description
"Icon Dupes" is Walmart's first campaign, featuring Gen Z celebrity lookalikes to prove its clothes are so stylish that college students could mistake these doubles, now called "Dupes", for the real celebrities. When it comes to style, college students, look to their favorite artists and influencers for inspiration, whose outfits set the trends. That's why this campaign is inspired by fashion "dupes" trend, where people find products that mirror designer styles for a fraction of the cost. But we added a twist: the clothes aren't the dupes; the celebrities are. So, we take these "dupes" to the streets to go viral on social media, sparking mystery and FOMO, leaving everyone asking, "What's going on?" until the truth is revealed.
