Description

Package design for a new line of ice cream rich in protein. The peculiar feature of Fru:Doza Protein is that it contains up to 9.1 grams or 12% of the recommended daily intake for an adult person. The new product represents a convincing healthy alternative to the traditional ice cream: there is no added sugar and it is low in fats, just 2 grams. The visual story of the package is built upon the serious minimalist typography, and as a result the powerful numbers constitute the design.

The protein amount being the key message, it is located right at the centre of the cup cover, and along its rim there are additional facts and advantages. The text information is so important that it fills the entire space of the packaging! The ice cream comes in three tastes – vanilla, chocolate and pine apple, and they are indicated by three colors, one for each, that create a striking contrast to the calm black background. The cup is made of craft paper, and its matte texture speaks to the healthy nature of the dessert inside.

This nutritional value-packed ice cream and its informative design are aimed at people who look closely into their daily consumption of proteins, fats and sugars, as well as those only considering healthier eating habits.
