In December 2023, Club América was established as champions of the Liga MX Open Tournament and added its 14th title, placing it as the team with the most titles in Mexican football. As is often the case in the world of sports and entertainment, after two months of the championship, the conversation about title #14 cooled down.
With a simple action on their X account, Club América used February 14th in their favor to wish a "Happy 14th" to those who love América and those who don't. Evidently, the number 14 represented their amount of titles and not just an innocent congratulation, which turned into a white glove slap that quickly gave plenty to talk about. From very early on, the team tagged footballers, commentators, soccer teams and influencers who have always shown their love or hate for Club América.
