Description
To wrap up Toyota's anime series GRIP, our ambition was to fully elevate the work. Moving beyond short episodes, we animated a nine-minute finale by applying lessons from previous seasons to scale up without taking shortcuts.
It was imperative that every frame was hand drawn; that human touch gave the film a soul automation can never replicate. By manually matching the lighting and physics of every scene, we ensured the cars felt genuinely part of the world. This level of care shifted perceptions for Asian youth, proving that taking the harder path is the only way to earn respect.
