We delivered a heartfelt and clever Good Friday message with a minimalistic yet deeply symbolic ad. The visual features a crumpled paper resembling a restaurant menu, listing not food items, but profound spiritual offerings: Grace as the appetizer, Love as the main course, and Hope as the dessert. Each element of the “menu” draws a parallel between the physical act of eating, a core association for KFC and the spiritual nourishment that Good Friday represents.
The copy below the menu, “He prepared the table”, ties it all together, subtly referencing the biblical notion of Jesus preparing a feast of salvation through his sacrifice. The phrase is powerful yet simple, mirroring the humble spirit of Good Friday, and it naturally connects back to KFC’s brand language around food and tables.
Through a simple “menu,” we reminded audiences that on Good Friday, the ultimate offering wasn’t food, but unconditional love, grace, and hope , eternal sustenance for the soul.
